As a first-generation college graduate, veteran of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), and spouse of a retired AFSOC and CSAR member, my practice is uniquely attuned to the needs of military personnel and first responders. While earning both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Central Florida between 2005 and 2008, I navigated the challenges of raising a family and supporting my husband through deployments. This journey ignited my deep love for learning and my commitment to finding balance between life’s ambitions and responsibilities. Graduating with honors, including Magna Cum Laude and First Generation recognition, solidified my calling in social work.
Before pursuing social work, I served as a rocket scientist at NASA, working on avionics for the space shuttle. That role shaped my understanding of the brain as a sophisticated, wired system. Today, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I merge my passion for science with compassion, helping clients unravel how their brain shapes their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I remain a natural troubleshooter, guiding people to unlock their potential, heal from trauma, and rewire their mental health.
Specializing in military, first responders, highly technical individuals like engineers, and children – I offer a personalized and non-invasive, natural approach to therapy. My mission is simple: to help each person understand their brain’s immense capacity for growth and healing. Together, we dive into the science of the mind to not only heal but thrive, creating lives that are both fulfilling and meaningful.
